Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Day, Tashkent

You will fly to Tashkent. You will arrive in Tashkent in the evening and pass passport, custom control. You will be met by a driver who will transfer you to the hotel. After check-in, you will have a free evening and dinner. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2Tashkent-Bukhara

After breakfast start sightseeing in the capital of Uzbekistan – Tashkent. Visit the famous sights of Tashkent: the ensemble Khast Imam (2007), including the library of Oriental manuscripts, where Quran of caliph Usman is kept, a continuation of the tour to the biggest bazaar of Tashkent – Chorsu. The descent to Tashkent underground where each station attracts attention by its design. Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch continuation of the tour around the modern part of Tashkent. Visit Amir Temur square and the Independence square. After dinner transfer to the railway station and departure for Bukhara by high-speed train “Afrosiab”. Upon arrival hotel check-in. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 3Bukhara

After breakfast start the tour around Bukhara that is often called the “Dome of Islam”. Visit the architectural complex Lyabi Hauz, including Kukeldash madrasah, khanaka Devonbegi and Devonbegi madrasah (16 – 17 cc.), a walk along the narrow streets of Bukhara through the trading domes to the famous architectural complex Poi Kalyan, including Kalyan mosque, Miri Arab madrasah and Kalyan minaret (12 – 16 cc.). Visit the citadel Ark and mausoleum of the Samanid dynasty. Dinner and folk show at Devonbegi madrasah. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 4Bukhara – Gijduvan – Samarkand

After breakfast drive to Samarkand through Gijduvan – the city in the Bukhara region, one of the centers of national art of Uzbekistan. The representatives of the 6th generation of the Narzullayev’s dynasty live in Gijduvan. They are famous ceramists. After lunch continuation of the path to Samarkand. Upon arrival hotel check-in. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 5Samarkand

After breakfast start the tour around one of the most ancient cities in the world that is considered to be “The Pearl of the Orient” – Samarkand. Visit the famous monuments of Samarkand – the tomb of Timurids – Gur-i-Emir (1404), Registan square (1415-1660), including three madrasahs – Ulugbek madrasah (1417), Sher Dor madrasah (1636) and Tillya Kori madrasah (1660). A walk along the Tashkent street to the famous mosque that was built by Amir Temur for his beloved wife – Bibi Khanym (1404). After lunchtime for shopping in Siab bazaar where it is possible to become a part of the national atmosphere and to bargain. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 6Samarkand – Jartepa – Seven Lakes

After breakfast, transfer to the Jartepa border. Transfer to Penjikent (20 km). Upon arrival, a tour around the city. Visit the Rudaki Museum, the excavations of ancient Sogda, and the bazaar. Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer from Penjikent to Seven Lakes to the village of Padrut (1800 m), which is located between the fourth and fifth lakes in the northern part. Overnight and dinner at the guest house (55 km)

Day 7Seven Lakes – the village Artuch (1850 m)

After breakfast, a walk around the village. Transfer to the place where the view of the Seven Lakes opens (2200 m). Walk to the Seven Lakes. Return to the guest house. Dinner. Departure to the village of Artuch (1850 m). Arrival in the village. Dinner and overnight at the guest house.

Day 8the Chukurak lake – the Chukurak pass – the Kulikalon lake (2800 m)

Breakfast, the ascent to the Chukurak pass. Descent to the lake Kulikalo (2800 m). Picnic near the lake. Encampment. Dinner and overnight at the tents camp.

Day 9the lake Kulikalon – the Alaudin pass – the Alaudin lake (2850 m)

Breakfast, the ascent to the Alauddin Pass (3860 m). Descent to Alauddin. Picnic near the lake. Dinner and overnight at the tents camp.

Day 10the Alaudin lake – Khujand

Breakfast and descent to the camp “Vertical”. Arrival in Khujand. Hotel accommodation. Sightseeing tour in Khujand. Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 11Khujand – Oybek border – Tashkent

Breakfast and transfer to the Oybek border. Passage of customs formalities. Meeting with the driver and continuation of the path to Tashkent. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. The rest of the day is free. Dinner is free. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 12Departure Day, Tashkent

After early breakfast transfer to the International airport and departure.
