Trekking in the Zeravshan Mountains is not considered to be difficult as it is part of the range that stretches to the south of the Zerevshan river and its highest point is in Tajikistan. However, you will be amazed by the views and you will spend a good time walking along beautiful valleys and ascending beautiful mountains. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit three beautiful cities of Uzbekistan and discover their rich history. You will walk along the streets of such ancient cities as Bukhara and Samarkand, and become the part of the modern capital of Uzbekistan – Tashkent. Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Day, Tashkent

Arrival in Tashkent, the passage of passport and customs control. Transfer to the hotel, hotel accommodation. After breakfast and little rest, you will start sightseeing in the capital of Uzbekistan – Tashkent. You will visit the famous sights of Tashkent: the ensemble Khast Imam (2007), including the library of Oriental manuscripts, where Quran of caliph Usman is kept, a continuation of the tour to the biggest bazaar of Tashkent – Chorsu. The descent to Tashkent underground where each station attracts attention by its design. Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch continuation of the tour around the modern part of Tashkent. Visit Amir Temur square and the Independence square. After dinner transfer to the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2Tashkent – Bukhara

After an early breakfast, departure from the hotel and transfer to the Tashkent railway station. Transfer to Bukhara by the Afrosiab high-speed train. Approximate arrival in Bukhara at 11:30. Upon arrival, the beginning of a tour in Bukhara, which is considered to be the “dome of Islam.” Visit Lyabi House – architectural complex, which includes Kukeldash madrasah, Devonbegi khanaka and Devonbegi madrasah (16th – 17th centuries). After lunch, a walk along the narrow streets of Bukhara to the famous architectural complex Poi Kalyan, which includes Kalyan mosque, Miri Arab madrasah and Kalyan minaret (12th – 16th centuries). Dinner and folklore show at Devonbegi Madrasah. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 3Bukhara – Shakhrisabz – Ayakchi

After an early breakfast, transfer to Samarkand via Shakhrisabz, near which the world famous Tamerlan was born. Upon arrival, lunch. After lunch, the beginning of the excursion in Shakhrisabz. Visiting the ruins of the palace of Amir Temur – Ak Saray, the Dorut Tilovat memorial complex, including the mausoleum of Sheikh Shamsuddin Kulal, the mausoleum of Gumbazi Seiydan, the mosque Kuk Gumbaz. After the tour, drive to the mountain village of Ayakchi. Arrival and accommodation at the guest house. Dinner and overnight in the guest house.

Day 4Ayakchi - Gavkhon – Eagle Rocks

After breakfast, start a hiking tour. The road passes through the mountain village of Gavkhon, past the Kizilyak River. Picnic. Continuation of hiking tour along the river to the Eagle Rocks. Accommodation in tents. Dinner and overnight at the tent camp. (5 – 6 hours)

Day 5Eagle Rocks – Beshkhazor

After breakfast, continue trekking to the Beshkhazor pass (2000 m). Descent to the gorge Ilonsoy. Picnic. After a walk, have a picnic and encamping near the river. Dinner and overnight at the camp. (6 – 7 hours)

Day 6Beshkhazor – Agalik – Samarkand

After breakfast, descent to the Agalychka river. Picnic by the river. After the picnic, continue on to the village of Agalyk, which is located near Samarkand. After a walk through the village, transfer to Samarkand. Upon arrival accommodation. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in the hotel. (5-6 hours)

Day 7Samarkand

After breakfast, start the tour. Visit such famous sights as the tomb of Temurids – Gur Emir (1404), Registan Square (1415-1660), which includes three madrassas – Ulugbek (1417), Sher Dor (1636) and Tilla Kori (1660). Walk along Tashkent street to the famous cathedral mosque built by Amir Temur for his beloved wife – Bibi Khanym (1404). After lunch, time for shopping in the Siab market, where you can feel the national atmosphere and bargain. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 8Samarkand-Tashkent

After breakfast hotel check-out. Continuation of the tour in Samarkand. Visit the necropolis Shakhi Zinda (14-15 cc.), the medieval observatory of Ulugbek and Samarkand paper factory “Meros”. After lunch transfer to Tashkent. Arrival, accommodation at the hotel.

Day 9Day of Departure, Tashkent

After early breakfast transfer to the International airport and departure.
